I was recently working on a project in Drupal in which I was asked to use AngularJS management functionality on a specific page. (To learn more about AngularJS, you can check este blog).

 

The first thing I thought was: Will it be easy to implement?

 

###What is ReactJS? It is a library created by Facebook, focused on the development for web UI components and their performance. It uses what they call "Virtual DOM", updating only parts of the DOM that changed without having to render the whole page or section of the page.

Today there are many companies who are planning to develop mobile applications, either as a way of showing their information in a more accessible way or to attract new customers.

 Drupal 8 promises to bring a lot of new features and tools to help us build and maintain our websites (for more information, I recommend you see my other post about Symfony and Drupal, with a release candidate just around the corner (at the time of writing this blog). Here in Rootstack we have been working with the new platform to develop several projects, and between the new changes, we have seen especially the inclusion of several modules contributed in the core of Drupal 8 and export system data files.

There are very few modules that provide much functionality for experienced Drupal developers as CTools, thanks to it, there are modules such as Views, Panels, Context, Display Suite, Password Policy, among others. As the name suggests, Chaos Tools is a module with several API developer tools, which contain some features that facilitate the developmen.

This time I will be explaining how to manage users in Symfony2, basic features of its security system and how to implement an efficient users management system in less than 15 minutes, likewise, I will provide tips along the blog to avoid spending time searching the internet and concentrate in our application.

For this tutorial we will assume you are running a *Nix environment (Mac OS X, Linux), and have at least PHP, Composser and MySQL installed

In the development of mobile applications often we spend a lot of time trying to stylize our applications so that the interface is pleasant for the user and easy to program. Today, this condition has changed thanks to the creation of a visual language that summarizes the basic principles of good design innovation, saving a lot of time in the development of the styles, we are talking about Material Design.

 

Last Saturday we held the first Drupal Day of the year in Panama, designed for enthusiasts and experts of software development with Drupal, also in order to interest new people to adopt this technology. We are grateful for all the support and all those who accompanied us on this day. This was a community event, composed of various talks in different parts of our office.
