Cloud computing solutions have become one of the main options for the world's largest companies to host their data there and manage their services and systems from the cloud. Several technologies provide this possibility, but Red Hat stands out among them.
On their official website, they explain “Red Hat offers hardened open source solutions that make it easy for companies to work across platforms and environments, from the core data center to the network edge. By operating in a transparent and accountable manner, we continue to be a catalyst in open source communities, helping them build powerful and flexible IT infrastructure solutions."
Advantages of using Red Hat
Among the advantages of using Red Hat is its certification for cloud computing, as they say on their official website "every cloud is unique, so you need a flexible and stable operating system."
In addition, they are focused on security, an essential aspect of Red Hat and its systems. Your company data will always be optimally and efficiently protected. In addition, it is compatible with new technologies, always adapting to new trends and systems that are appearing in the technology market.
Can Red Hat be downloaded for free and legally?
It is legal to download Red Hat for free, specifically version 7.2 of Red Hat Linux without a modified operating system. It can be done just by creating an account from the official website of this cloud service technology.
After this, you go to the Google search and there you put “RedHat developer account” and log in with the RedHat account credentials. Then, you download and install the Rhel 7.2 operating system physically or virtually.
Red Hat membership is free and available to individual developers and includes Red Hat Enterprise Linux, as well as other technologies. Anyone can access it, just join the Red Hat Developer Program at developer.redhat.com/register, all for free.
On its official page, Red Hat confirms that it can be used for free but certain conditions apply to users or companies that signed a contract with them, sharing the extract from its regulations where they explain this:

While you have Subscriptions that entitle you to Subscription Services for a Red Hat Product, you must purchase the corresponding Software Subscriptions and Support Subscriptions in a quantity equal to the total number and capacity of Units of that Red Hat Product from the date of purchase. commencement of your use or implementation of such Red Hat Products. For Add-On Subscriptions, you must purchase a quantity equal to the total number and capacity of Units receiving the associated Subscription Services. For purposes of counting Units, Units include (a) Non-Red Hat Products if you are using Subscription Services to support or maintain such Non-Red Hat Products and (b) versions or copies of the Software with the Red Hat trademark(s) and/or logo files removed. Fees are for Subscription Services; there are no fees associated with Red Hat Software licenses.
