Challenge
Due to the company's acquisition by a recognized financial group in LATAM; a banking institution needed to update its account, credentials, and internal configurations of the website so that the profiles would be updated under the new bank directive.
All this information needed to be treated with caution and reviews had to be made to verify that the working code also fulfilled its role in the new account.
Our solution
First, a detailed document was made on the topics to be replicated, updated, and improved for the new account.
The client needed to migrate all the data, website features, and sensitive information from the Database connected to Drupal so that everything would be reflected in the new account.
Rootstack created the users, and the webmaster made a backup of the information and migrated all the factors to replicate the operation and interface in the Drupal account and Acquia hosting. These changes were made internally and with caution as the data had to be replicated precisely, however, new configurations were integrated taking the management change into account.
A new Drupal library plugin was added so that the Marketing team had detailed visibility of the users, times, visits, and technical performance of their website for each page. It should be noted that users and transactions were not affected by this change, the new version was enabled and live and customers continued with their normal use.
Two Rootstack developers, a Project Manager, and an internal QA from Multibank participated in this project.
Technologies
The methodology that was used in the project for the raising of tickets, implementation, and development was Scrum, the tickets were worked on Rootnet to manage the details of tasks, managers, and times.
The technologies that were used in this project were: Drupal as CMS, Acquia for Hosting, HTML for the correct functioning of the installed plugin, and Github, the database hosted in MySQL and CSS, among others.
This project was carried out with the objective set by the client for the correct migration of the account and data; and with Roostack's experience in different CMSs such as Drupal. Here the key was our internal talent and the technologies we handle. It was a clean project and it could be executed in an optimal time for the client.
