Rootstack has vast experience working hand in hand with different companies, creating innovative technological solutions and improving the workflows of its different departments. For this reason, a well-known company approached our team with the following problem: the Human Resources department was dealing with the manual entry into the system of each of the new collaborators who joined the team, a routine task.
This company not only managed one system but several simultaneously. And, when hiring a new person, they had to be registered on each of the platforms, having to create various credentials that the user had to use to access each one separately.
In this process, an Excel spreadsheet was filled out, being a heavy and complex manual task to execute. A modality very susceptible to errors in the data of the collaborators.
Our solution
An experienced team of talent from Rootstack supported this company in the development of an automation flow for Human Resources, with the implementation of a tool based on RPA.
In this case, a robot entered the spreadsheet and verified the new people who had been hired in the current month. Then he was in charge of validating if the new collaborator was registered or not within the system. If it was not, then it proceeded to create its user within the platform.
This system has the peculiarity that, despite being managed by a programmed robot, it is also configured to send an email alert when an error occurs when creating or registering a new user.
The company's manual handling of the spreadsheets was also verified: there was a system that was in charge of the timelogs and another of the calculation. With our advice, it was possible to download and import the data in an automated way, making data management even easier for the company.
